Mr. Joshua HurleyGuidance Department Leader

Prior to becoming a School Counselor, he was a middle and high school Science/Biology teacher, Science Instructional Coach, Soccer Coach, and Athletic Director. Mr. Hurley completed his undergraduate work at Pace University in New York and obtained his M.S. in School Guidance and Counseling for Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Hurley’s passion involves helping students reach their highest potential emotionally, academically, and behaviorally. As a school counselor, Mr. Hurley feels his job is exciting and rewarding when he is able to help students become independent, positive decision makers, and mature into young adults. Some of his best moments in his career are seeing his students go out and do good deeds in the community. As a School Counselor at Brandon High School, he looks forward to assisting the students, the parents and the school staff. Feel free to contact him if you need any assistance. She also earned a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Olivier started her School Counseling career at Blake High School before joining the Eagle’s Nest. She enjoys working with students and helping them achieve and realize their full potential. She is passionate about helping students with their educational development, personal/social growth, and finding post-secondary aspirations. |

She taught in her hometown of Plant City, FL for 4 year before returning to Bulls Country to receive her Master's Degree in School Counseling. Her passion for helping students reach their highest potential despite adversity, challenges and obstacles has lead her to become a High School Counselor. She believes that preparing students for life by providing a warm, loving and caring environment is key to their success. She believes every student has a chance at a proper education and helps students in their post-secondary endeavors. Our College and Career Counselor works with students at all grade levels to provide college and career guidance. |
