Domestic Violence
The Spring of Tampa (https://www.thespring.org/_ provides safe emergency shelter and multiple suppor-tive services for victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children. The DV crisis hotline is staffed 24 hours a day and can help callers identify ways to stay safe during the COVIS-19 pandemic. The Spring's hotline number is (813) 247-SAFE (7233). They have increased their use of technologyu during the pandemic to also service remotely.
Additionally, The Spring of Tampa* employs attorneys (including Spanish fluent attorneys) who provife free legal representation on Hillsborough County to help obyain injunction for protection (IFP) for any survivor of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual violence, and stalking without regard of income. Chrysalis (https://chrysalishealth.com) helps clients break free from barriers and work toward sustainable, meaningful change. Their highly qualified and trained therapists, counselors, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals work with the individuals of all ages and walks of life to reorient focus, develop meaningful relationships, and provide comprehensive care. Chrysalis provides mental health and substances abuse services as well as help accessing community resources. Telehealth services are being provided at this time.

Gracepoint (htt[s://gracepointwellness.org/) is onr pf Tampa Bay's leading providers of behavioral health solutions. dedicated to inspiring and creating life-changing wellness for every individual. Gracepoint provides mental health services to children and adults. They currently utilize virtual health when necessary. Gracepoint also provides crisis services to children through teh Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit. Clinicians are available by calling (813) 272-2882 for immediate evaluations - 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Nortthside Behavioral Health Center's (http://www.northsidebhc.org/) children's services are available to children who meet the admissions criteria. Spanish-speaking therapists are available. Northside provides Counseling Services including individual child and family counseling, group counseling, specialized counseling for childrem ages 0-6, juvenile sex offender treatment, and Psychiatric Outpatient Services including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and on-site pharmacy services provided by Genoa Pharmacy.

Food Resources for Students and Families
Trinity Cafe, a program of Feeding Tampa Bay, is a free, full service restaurant for those in need of a healthy meal. In light of recommendations from the CDC and federal administration to limit the number of people gathering in one area, Trinity Cafe has transitioned to a to-go model at this time. Anyone in need of a meal can stop by Trinity Cafe locations to collect up to 4 to-go meals for the week.

Breakspot Meal Sites will be open to children 18 and under beginning March 23. Sites will serve daily Monday-Friday (unless otherwise noted), in a drive-thru type model to keep the health and safety of all parties at the forefront. Each child will receive a free to-go meal for today and breakfast for tomorrow. Sites only open once a week will provide 5 takeaway meals on the day they serve.Parents whose children are unable to attend will be accommodated to pick up meals for their children.

Senior Grocery Resources: Obtaining resources, like food, during this pandemic can be difficult for our senior neighbors, but Feeding Tampa Bay is here to help! For those able to venture away from their homes, find one of our nearby food pantry partners or shop at the stores below with designated senior hours.

Publix Community Market at the Feeding Tampa Bay warehouse : Feeding Tampa Bay’s on-site food pantry allows you to pick up a box of fresh produce and other perishable items, free of charge. Appointments are required to shop in the Publix Community Market. Call 813.254.1190 today to schedule your appointment. Shoppers will be allotted one appointment per month.

TRANSPORTATION
Beginning on Monday, March 23, 2020, HART service will be FREE to youth 18 and under with valid School or HART Youth ID until regular classes resume. The Hillsborough County School District has designated 'Grab-and-Go' locations for pickup of nutritious meals during school closures and virtual learning. Call HART at 813-254-4278 to get more information.
What if student does not have School ID? If the student does not have a school ID they will have to get to a transit station to purchase a Youth ID. YOUTH PERMIT Must be between the ages of 5 and 18 Original birth certificate, passport, state ID or Hillsborough County School documentation with typed birthdate. Middle Schools and High School students need only to present their school ID to obtain the discount fare to ride. $2.50 fee, valid for two years or until 18th birthday Note: If the student has already turned 18, they can continue to use the valid 19-20 school id for the free service. |
